Signs and Symptoms of Bladder Cancer

Bladder cancer symptoms are typically noticeable. If you experience any of these symptoms, it may be worth seeing a doctor: blood in the urine, frequent urination, painful urination, or back pain. Your doctor may first explore more common causes of these symptoms or refer you to a specialist, such as a urologist or oncologist. Symptoms of bladder cancer may vary among individuals.1

What are common signs and symptoms of bladder cancer?

In medicine, a sign is something that can be observed by a healthcare provider or other person, such as a fever, skin rash, high blood pressure, and high blood glucose.
